ANEW Way of Life -Commitment for God – FOR LIFE Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure MINISTRY:Ladies Guild
Bible Verses:
Romans 12:10-13 B
e devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor;
not lagging behind in diligence, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord; rejoicing in hope,
persevering in tribulation, devoted to prayer, contributing to the needs of the saints,
practicing hospitality.
Purpose: We grow spiritually by practicing the gifts of hospitality, service and generosity. We show our Christian love and seek to follow the example of Our Lady of Consolation by providing help to our church, comfort in times of hardship, and sorrow; also, together we celebrate joyous occasions. Praying and working together we grow spiritually in the pursuit of getting closer to our Lord Jesus Christ. We become sisters in Christ and with His help will lead others to Him by example.
Member: Prayerful life and willingness to serve God and His people.
We are active women at our church; we are grandmothers, mothers and daughters, wives, widows and single: we are sisters and we are friends. Membership in the Ladies Guild is open to all parish females at least eighteen years old. You can become a member of the Ladies Guild and a be a member of another church group; your time, talent and treasure is welcomed!
Come help us serve God and His people by working to expand our community outreach!
