Liturgical - Delphian Marsh
Altar Servers
The primary role of the altar server is to assist the priest/celebrant in the celebration of all liturgies during the mass. This is done through specific action and setting an example to the congregation by active participation in the liturgies (hymn, responses, etc.). An underlying goal of this ministry is to expose young men and women to the religious life and ultimately serve as a catalyst for the promotion of religious life. Altar Servers serve God on his altar.
