Men's Group BBQ

September 30, 2017

The Men's Group annual BBQ will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Come grab a plate and eat slow or take it "to go" to help support the Men's Group "feed the hungry" program with the Men's Homeless Shelter. A variety of BBQ or Chicken dinners will be available for $10 with various sides (slaw, baked beans, hushpuppies, chips). A BBQ family pack will also be available for $25. Ice Tea is included in all dinners. Donations are welcomed. Come out and Support the Men's Group.

Health Event

September 29, 2017

The Our Lady of Consolation Health Ministry will have a health event on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at the annual Men’s Group Bar-B-Cue. The Health Ministry will provide Blood Pressure screening and an opportunity to “Ask the Nurse or the Doctor” any health questions you might have. The OLC Nurses will be available that day starting at 12:00 noon until 3:30 pm. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Trunk or Treat

September 29, 2017

The Trunk or Treat provides a safer environment for children to trick or treat with their families. This year's event will be Saturday, October 28, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the PLC parking lot. Children will enjoy decorated trunks and lots of treats.

If you would like to bring your decorated trunk and pass out treats to the children, contact the Parish Office to be added to the list. Candy donations are also welcomed and can be dropped off at the parish office during office hours.

Deacon Charles Knight Passes Away

September 15, 2017
